Hot on the heels of their 16-liter Mini panniers launched a few weeks ago, today Tailfin introduces a unique way to pack those panniers with 3 new Packing Cubes. Built also to integrate perfectly with Tailfin’s rear AeroPack or AP20 bag system, these organizers aim to take your packing for bikepacking to the next level. Pack Smart & Stay Organised.
Tailfin Packing Cubes to organize your bikepacking
These unique Packing Cubes come in three sizes, 2.5L, 3.5L, and 6L. These packs will help you easily avoid the inefficient but traditionally unavoidable “yard sale” effect when emptying your gear when you arrive at your destination.
Packing smart isn’t always as easy as it should be. Especially when you are packing with limited space. Thinking you’ve got it mastered, unpacking, or finding what you need can be difficult.
Splitting what you’re packing into sensible-sized “rooms” makes perfect sense for keeping track of your stuff. It also makes it easier find that one special little item that you know you brought with you.
Designed to simplify your packing process, while maximizing the capacity of the Tailfin rear packs. This new range of Tailfin Packing Cubes does this by clever shaping and a unique mix of light materials.
The Packing Cubes are very durable and will help you get to know them as well as your gear storage at home. This should facilitate finding and accessing whatever you need, more quickly.
Packing Cubes Stuffed with Clever Features
Not only are the Packing Cubes chocked full o’ clever features, but they “nail the basics” with well-considered details, as well. All designed to keep weight low without sacrificing important features.
When the Packing Cube trio is nestled up in an AeroPack/AP20, they can unlock all the available space. The 6-liter Cube’s double-ended top zip gives access anywhere along its interior space without removing it from the AeroPack/AP20.
The next 3.5-liter cube, with its stretch-mesh outer pocket, is the perfect place for a battery pack, or other easy to access gear. Then, smaller items are perfect for storing in the 2.5-liter Packing Cube.
The reflective graphics and light-colored fabric on the Cube’s uppers allow better visual identification of each Cube in dark environments. You know, like the inside of a black bag inside a dark tent at night.
Storing the Cubes on the not-so-dry ground when you get to, and set up camp, isn’t anything you need to worry about. All of the Cubes are built with water- and wear-resistant fabric bases, so even storing wet items inside the Cube shouldn’t be an issue. The trio of Packing Cubes is washable, as well, because you know you are gonna make a mess of them.
“Each Packing Cube is made with a mono-filament ripstop fabric, which is lightweight, flexible, and water-resistant even after multiple washers. The lower part is specially formulated to have increased tear strength while providing great hydrolysis performance.”
