Maddie, on our run yesterday, said, “Running should be an augmenter to your life, not a detractor.” I couldn’t agree more. 10 miles @ 7:35 pace with 4 miles at our aerobic threshold (comfortably hard and still able to talk a bit) @ 6:42. It’s been really fun to see how doing aet miles frequently has really made these bases feel a lot better.
Recovery with Beckster.
My cousin was in town so we got to do lunch with her and my mom! Not sure a mexican steak rice bowl was the best idea before my double but it sure tasted good.
So did the cookie my mom gave us.
For my double yesterday, I had a guest appearance from Knox. This made the three miles go by much faster.
Everyone else had dentists appointments and then we were out in the front yard for hours.
Anyone else find that the best nights are actually the most simple ones?!
Let’s get going onto the tangents!
*He wanted to wear his snow coat when it was 80° at a soccer game so he wore his snow coat.
*I was looking up the most challenging parts of the St. George Marathon course. I am going to eat these miles for breakfast.
*The other night during night games, Beck and his best friend were stargazing. We were right next to them so we could hear their conversations and their deep thoughts were so sweet.
*How I feel today:
*I spend A LOT of time at the soccer fields and so I just ordered this rocking chair for me because it is on sale and everyone seems to LOVE it. Let me know if anyone else tries it too.
*Does it get better than See’s Candies? I think not.
*When the picture makes you think there are 60 shrimpies in the container and there is 15 hahaha.
