When the school year wraps up, educators can look forward to some hard-earned relaxation time and score major deals on Disney World-area hotels.
Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels, located walking distance from epic dining and shopping area Disney Springs, is offering 20 percent off hotel stays exclusively for teachers and educators this summer, the hotel group shared with Travel + Leisure. This special is available to book between now and Aug. 15 for stays between May 27 and Sept 2.
Participating hotels include Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace, Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando, DoubleTree Suites By Hilton Orlando, B Resort & Spa, Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, Holiday Inn Orlando, and Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista.
The teacher appreciation discounted rate is available to U.S. and Canada-based preschool, daycare, and kindergarten through college teachers and support staff. Proof of employment is required upon check-in. Daily parking fees and resort service fees are not included. The discounted rate offer is only available through a promotion website. Some blackout dates may apply, and availability may be limited.
Hotel guests can take advantage of many of the same perks as Disney-operated resort guests, like exclusive early park entry, complimentary transportation to all four theme parks, and exclusive advanced booking access to Disney’s four golf courses. Each resort is an official Walt Disney World Resort hotel and offers enticing on-site amenities. Hit the expansive pool at the newly renovated DoubleTree Suites By Hilton Orlando or kick it back in the lazy river at Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace.
Splash the day away at one of its two waterparks, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Disney’s Blizzard Beach. For those visiting Magic Kingdom, this summer will mark the opening of Disney World’s highly anticipated new attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, inspired by “The Princess and The Frog.” At Epcot, a brand new limited-time show celebrating the music of “Encanto” begins June 10.
