North Naples, Florida, is known for its sandy beaches, upscale hospitality scene, golf courses, and natural beauty, making it a magnet for vacationers of all ages. This month, the area welcomed a new boutique hotel along the Cocohatchee River: The Perry Hotel Naples.
The Perry Hotel Naples — the second property from the Perry brand, which has its flagship in Key West — has 160 guest rooms and one-bedroom suites with private balconies. Each room is outfitted with custom wood and metal headboards, Santa Maria wood wardrobes, and Labrica sitting area furniture. Guests can also book poolside rooms, conveniently located on the first floor by the hotel’s main pool and deck; or splurge on a suite with a double balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, a private bedroom with a king-size bed, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a soaking bathtub.
“Every detail of the hotel has been thoughtfully designed, and our passionate team is committed to delivering memorable experiences that celebrate the beauty and spirit of Naples,” said Matthew Strunk, the general manager of The Perry Hotel Naples, in a press release shared with Travel + Leisure.
For the interiors, the hotel teamed up with Florida-based studio Casa Conde, which also designed The Perry Hotel Key West. While guests will certainly find coastal references reflective of the landscape, the interiors also incorporate hints of industrial design, like concrete floors, steel accents, and metalwork, adding a modern vibe to the accommodations and public spaces.
Fans of the reality TV competitionTop Chef will recognize the name of chef Dale Talde, who helms the hotel’s signature rooftop restaurant, Tigress. Here, the 2022 James Beard Award nominee puts a modern American spin on classic Cantonese chophouses.
“I’m thrilled to bring a fresh dining concept to Florida that blends my love of Cantonese cuisine with the drama of a classic steakhouse,” Talde said. “We’re not just serving incredible cuts of meat; we’re creating a culinary journey that celebrates bold flavors and innovative cocktails. This concept is all about pushing boundaries and giving diners something they’ve never experienced before.”
Adjacent to Tigress is the rooftop open-air cocktail lounge, Easy Tiger, where guests can enjoy the scenic Gulf of Mexico and Cocohatchee River views while sipping on craft cocktails by James Beard Award-winning mixologist Lynnette Marrero.
The rooftop is also home to a second pool, this one for adults only, while the main pool on the first floor is open to travelers of all ages and has poolside service and bar. In the morning, a lobby-level coffee shop serves freshly brewed espresso drinks and breakfast.
The property also has a dock with eight boat slips and offers activities such as guided kayak tours, sunset cruises, and fishing trips.
Nightly rates at The Perry Hotel Naples start from $299, and you can book your stay at perryhotelnaples.com.
