The Sagaponack Hotel Renovation in New York’s Hamptons

While The Hamptons may be most popular in the summer months — its beautiful sun-kissed beaches and top-notch culinary scene make the East End of Long Island an ideal beach escape for New Yorkers — the off-season also provides plenty of reasons to head out east.

Fresh off a property-wide renovation, The Sagaponack Hotel sits on seven acres in (surprise!) Sagaponack, New York, and is open year-round, offering modern amenities and proximity to some of the area’s best beaches, museums, and wineries.

The 30-key property comprises several buildings where travelers can choose from a variety of room categories, including detached bungalows, perfect for group or family escapes complete with a kitchenette and private outdoor spaces, intimate studios that couples will enjoy, and standard king guest rooms and suites, housed in the main building. The refreshed interior design features timeless white and pops of navy and sage inspired by the area’s lush natural beauty. The accommodations treat guests to residential-style comforts like bathrobes, Snooz white noise machines, smart TVs, and Apotheke bath products, with some room categories also featuring microwave ovens and fridges.

In the main building, travelers will also find a fully stocked pantry with snacks, morning pastries, ice cream, drinks, and a Nespresso coffee maker.

While The Sagaponack may be a small hotel, it doesn’t lack resort amenities. In the warm months, guests can enjoy the property’s heated outdoor pool as well as lawn games. Complimentary passes to Sagaponack’s popular main beach are also included with each stay. Additionally, the hotel has beach lockers stocked with complimentary chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and beach toys available to its guests.

The Sagaponack encourages its guests to stay active and explore nearby attractions by providing them with e-bikes and beach cruisers. One of the property’s current stay packages, Ride into the Sunset, takes guests on a 14-mile e-bike tour around a historic race route near Sag Harbor and Sagg Main Beach.

Baby-friendly amenities are also available. Parents can skip packing essentials such as a pack-n-play, strollers, monitors, and highchairs because the hotel has them on-site, along with recommendations for local babysitting services.
