These $89 Raycon Earbuds Rival $190-plus Versions

I usually pride myself on not being easily swayed by trends. However, after months of listening to one of my favorite influencers — who is always on the go — rave about her favorite brand of earbuds, I have to admit, I was curious. She couldn’t stop talking about the cost, functionality, and durability of the product, claiming they were the best earbuds on the market. Did I really need to try a new set of earbuds? Could they measure up to the beloved AirPods?

I caved — and I’m not the only person who has been influenced to try the Raycon Everyday Earbuds. “I have seen a ton of Youtubers who push these,” said one reviewer. “I get it now.” 

And I do, too.

The Raycon Everyday Earbuds boast an eight-hour playtime, up to 32 hours of total battery life, an ergonomic and comfortable design, and impressive durability. The earbuds can pair with two devices at once, which is a lifesaver for working remotely and juggling phone calls and Zoom meetings. The Raycon Everyday Earbuds are also waterproof and dustproof — they’re even drop-proof, according to one reviewer. 

After the earbuds took a tumble and hit the concrete floor, “I counted them as goners almost immediately. No earbuds I’ve ever owned would have survived a 10-plus-foot fall onto concrete,” the reviewer said. “To our utter surprise, we found them, with the earbuds still in the case, and totally unharmed.” Not that I recommend testing this out yourself, but you don’t need to worry about your Raycon Everyday Earbuds lasting — they can handle a lot. 

These earbuds come in four colors — carbon black, forest green, plush violet, and royal blue — and they’re priced at $80 on Amazon, which is cheaper than you can normally find AirPods, even at Black Friday prices. Trust me, you won’t even miss your AirPods. One reviewer said, “I bought them because I was ridiculously tired of replacing my AirPods for when they would suddenly stop working … these surprised and impressed me in comfort and quality.”

The Raycon Everyday Earbuds have garnered an average rating of 4.3 out of 5 stars. Many reviews echo the reason I was influenced in the first place: quality earbuds for a reasonable price. 

“The charge lasts a long time [and] the bass is better than the ones I’ve had before … even better than the JBLs,” one reviewer noted before adding, “I wear earbuds every day and these have been by far my favorite.” And yet another reviewer noted, “I haven’t needed to charge it yet. It should easily last a seven-hour flight.”

Whether you’re a frequent flier or telecommuter, the Raycon Everyday Earbuds’ active noise-canceling and awareness modes won’t disappoint. “The noise-canceling and awareness mode made my last air travel experience the best I’ve had in years,” said one reviewer. Plus, they’re comfortable. “These Raycon earbuds are so comfortable that I have no problem wearing them for hours when I travel or while working out,” said another reviewer.

I’ve been impressed with the Raycon Everyday Earbuds — so much, in fact, I have to agree with one user who said, “Don’t plan on purchasing anymore Apple AirPods.”
