This Airline Has Flights to Europe on Sale for Just Over $400 Roundtrip — How to Book

TAP Air Portugal is making it easier to plan an epic getaway to Europe and beyond this winter with a flight deal that has roundtrip tickets starting at just over $400.

The sale, which is available to book through Jan. 19, is valid on travel to dozens of destinations across Europe and Africa, including to popular countries like Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Morocco, the airline shared with Travel + Leisure. The sale is available for flights from Jan. 15 through May 15.

“Everyone loves to celebrate the new year by planning a new trip to an exciting destination,” Carlos Antunes, TAP’s director for the Americas, said in a statement shared with T+L. “Right now, TAP has some of our best fares available to Portugal as well as 40 additional European and African cities to choose from. And, of course, even our best sales always include our popular Portugal Stopover program where you can also enjoy up to 10 days in Portugal along the way for no additional airfare.”

Fly to Madrid or Barcelona starting at just $419 roundtrip from either Miami or Boston, or fly roundtrip to Paris, Copenhagen, Dublin, or Amsterdam starting at just $429 from New York. Travelers can also spend the winter in Milan with $439 roundtrip flights available from New York and Miami, and $469 roundtrip flights available from San Francisco.

Travelers can also book great deals to Portugal, including $499 roundtrip flights to Lisbon from both New York and Chicago, or $589 roundtrip flights to the Azores from Washington D.C.

In addition, the sale includes discounted business class tickets to Portugal starting at just $2,299 roundtrip. 

The sale is available from each of TAP’s seven U.S. gateway cities, but is not valid during blackout dates from April 7 to 22.

TAP flies to 85 cities in 30 different countries and operates a fleet made up of Airbus’ next generation NEO aircraft as well as regional Embraer aircraft. The airline is part of the Star Alliance along with U.S. carrier United Airlines, and operates a low-cost model with four different economy fare classes: Discount, Basic, Classic, and Plus.
