As a food and travel writer, I constantly find myself embarking on long and exhausting travel days. This may mean running through an airport to make a tight connection or trying to stay comfortable on a long-haul, overnight flight, knowing that I’m going to have to hit the ground running once I arrive at my destination. Time and again, I’ve discovered that being ready to put my best foot forward on these trips is often just as much about what I’m wearing while en route as what I’m packing for once I arrive.
To this end, I’m often on the lookout for comfortable, plane-friendly travel outfits, and who better to look to for inspiration than flight attendants? Recently, I came across this super cute, off-the-shoulder jumpsuit that has earned high praise from frequent fliers — many of whom were flight attendants — and I knew I had to pick it up for an upcoming trip that would involve a long flight itinerary followed by an also-long drive to my destination.Â
PrettyGarden Off-shoulder Jumpsuit
I was seeking something flattering and well-fitted while still being incredibly comfortable to wear for hours at a time. I also wanted it to be cute enough to wear right into a lunch or coffee meeting upon arrival. Currently marked down to $27, this PrettyGarden Off-shoulder Jumpsuit immediately fit the bill — so well that I felt like I was traveling in pajamas. But, thankfully, as comfortable as this jumpsuit is, it’s still a fully socially acceptable travel outfit that is impressively wrinkle-resistant; it looks great and put-together even after I’ve been lounging in it on a plane all day and night.
In past pursuits for comfortable travel outfits, I’ve tried everything from relaxed dresses to loungey wide-leg pants, but what initially jumped out at me about this jumpsuit is that it was stylish and easy to wear (and pack). It also has a hidden drawstring waist to give it shape and offer some extra stretchiness after those days of wine and cheese tasting for my work. The jumpsuit is also incredibly versatile and can be dressed up or down with a change of shoes and accessories.Â
PrettyGarden Off-shoulder Jumpsuit
These are the exact reasons why flight attendants swear by the PrettyGarden Off-shoulder Jumpsuit as well. In one five-star review, a flight attendant dubbed the travel outfit “perfect for everyone” who wants to stay comfortable while looking “posh” when flying on planes: “You can wear this to the beach for a nice casual look or put [on] a belt, heels, blazer, and necklace to dress up for a night out.”Â
I can vouch for the jumpsuit’s versatility as I’ve worn it with everything from my favorite travel sandals to sneakers or ballerina flats. According to another cabin crew member, “It is a favorite among our flight attendant group. When we are traveling, we call ourselves the sisterhood of the traveling jumpsuit.” Concluding their review, they noted, “It’s a comfortable, inexpensive, easy one-piece to dress up or dress down.”Â
PrettyGarden Off-shoulder Jumpsuit

As I’m sure you know, staying comfortable is key when traveling, whether or not it’s your job. Thankfully, travel-friendly jumpsuits are rather plentiful on Amazon these days, and there are some great deals to be found, too.
