As the weather cools off, beach lovers and snowbirds already have their eyes on Florida’s sun-drenched coastline. Those planning to escape the winter blues in the Sunshine State should consider staying at the newly renovated Beach Club at The Boca Raton.
The five-star property, overlooking half a mile of private Atlantic Ocean shoreline, welcomes back guests after a $120 million top-to-bottom makeover that transformed the resort’s guest rooms, dining and wellness offerings, and poolside amenities.Â
Travelers can choose from 210 guest rooms and suites with ocean and Intracoastal views, some with private patios and balconies. The reimagined spaces have an air of understated luxury, thanks to the abundance of natural textures like wood and marble and high-end finishes punctuated by pops of lively coral hues. Enhanced amenities include wet bars, separate living rooms, and spacious marble bathrooms with soaking bathtubs.
The resort’s culinary offerings focus on beachfront dining. Marisol, the property’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner spot, serves Mediterranean flavors and handcrafted cocktails against panoramic ocean views. A new addition to the dining program is Onda, a seasonal al fresco eatery highlighting island fare.Â
A chic lobby bar with outdoor seating and a poolside bar complement the resort’s food and beverage options.
And speaking of the pool, or rather pools (three, to be precise), the property now has a new Cabana Club, where guests can relax in custom-designed cabanas in collaboration with French swimwear brand Vilebrequin.
As part of The Boca Raton, which boasts 200 waterfront acres and five resorts, Beach Club guests also have access to golf, tennis, and pickleball amenities along with wellness experiences at Spa Palmera (the hotel has a new gym) and a dozen more restaurants and bars. Families with kids will appreciate the children’s programming and facilities that comprise water slides and a floating river, among many others.
Beach Club’s renovation is part of The Boca Raton’s $375 million transformation.
“Beach Club has long been recognized as one of the most coveted beachside resort destinations in South Florida, and this evolution is poised to captivate a whole new category of discerning travelers while appealing to our legacy guests,” Daniel A. Hostettler, president and CEO of The Boca Raton, said in a press release, shared with Travel + Leisure. “[..] The new Beach Club will reflect the very best in design, dining, and experience—at the only beachfront resort in Boca Raton.”
Nightly rates at the Beach Club start from $985, and you can book your stay on thebocaraton.com.
