The TCS New York City on Sunday marked the final of the six World Marathon Majors events of 2024. The 53rd edition of the race saw more than 55,500 finishers, including many notable celebrities. Canada’s second-fastest marathoner in history, Rory Linkletter, led the field of 1,068 Canadian finishers, clocking 2:11:42 to cinch 15th place and the fastest time ever by a Canadian marathoner at the NYC Marathon. Kylee Raftis of Toronto was Canada’s top female finisher, clocking 2:38:45 to place 25th.
