What change is coming? + You are going to love this.

Good morning! I am excited to share the Athleta Kick Off the Holidays Promotion with you today –>30% off Cozy Favorites (from the Cozy Shop, and Gift Shop *exclusions apply*)! This 30% off starts today and goes until 10/28. It’s the perfect time to stock up on gifts for the amazing women in your life and treat yourself to pieces for cozy nights in, adventures outside, and everything in between!

These pieces will last for years and years. Athleta creates clothing to empower women to feel good and to move with us for whatever activities bring us joy in whatever season of life we are in!

The temperatures have dropped quickly in Utah, and our mountains already have snow.

I love the change in seasons, and one of my favorite books for this time of year is Wintering by Katherine May. It is such a powerful book that helps me to see the importance of the change of seasons in our lives. It helps me to remember the need for rest and recovery. It helps me to embrace the cycles that come with each year and to take care of myself more than ever while I take time to search inward.

One of my favorite quotes from this book: “I recognized winter. I saw it coming (a mile off, since you ask), and I looked it in the eye. I greeted it and let it in. I had some tricks up my sleeve, you see. I’ve learned them the hard way. When I started feeling the drag of winter, I began to treat myself like a favored child: with kindness and love. I assumed my needs were reasonable and that my feelings were signals of something important. I kept myself well fed and made sure I was getting enough sleep. I took myself for walks in the fresh air and spent time doing things that soothed me. I asked myself: What is this winter all about? I asked myself: What change is coming?”

Isn’t that beautiful? I hope we can all treat ourselves like a favored child this time of year and spend time doing things that soothe us.

Now more than ever, my body and mind are requesting walks, time in nature, and rest indoors. Athleta’s pieces are so versatile, making them perfect for my entire day’s activities. I can’t speak highly enough of everything I own from Athleta.

Quick pause for the beauty of Bryce Canyon… it truly is my favorite National Park in Utah. You feel like you are on Mars here!

Let’s talk about a few of my favorite pieces right now–> The Elation Ultra High Rise 7/8 Legging ! They come in 30 different colors. The fabric makes you want to never take them off. I can wear these absolutely everywhere and I’m positive the women in your life would LOVE to receive a pair of these.

The Forever Fleece 1/4 Zip Sweatshirt! The length is actually perfect. It comes in neutrals and colors that will catch your eye. It is perfect for lounging, errands, and time outdoors. The comfort is unmatched, and you will want to live in it!

The Cozy Hour Beanie would make the perfect gift! I cannot get over the colors, and I want each one of these (giving one to my nieces this year)!

The Forever Fleece Crewneck Sweatshirt is also the perfect length, and I adore it in the moss and grey. You can get the matching joggers/sweats to go with these sweatshirts, too (they are on my list)!

The Winthrop Reflective headband will be what I’m wearing all winter long to keep my ears warm outside!
